At HMT St Hugh’s we are always on the lookout for hard-working, dedicated and caring people to join our ever-growing team of healthcare professionals and non-clinical staff.
To show interested applicants our world-class facilities and great working atmosphere, St Hugh’s is holding its first ever recruitment open day. We’re inviting healthcare professionals to come and visit us at our hospital in Grimsby on Saturday 20th May to give applicants a taste of what it’s like to work with us.
The unmissable event, held between 10 am and 1 pm, will introduce prospective candidates to St Hugh’s with a welcome presentation to learn about our ethos. One of our heads of department will then lead a tour around the facilities, with other department heads available to answer any questions and to show applicants around specialist facilities.
We are currently recruiting for nurses, consultants, operating department practitioners, radiographers and physiotherapists, as well as non-clinical staff.

St Hugh’s prides itself on providing world-class healthcare and as a not for profit organisation, we channel any surplus back into the community to improve lives and promote health in the area. We are involved in several activities and programmes in the local community, such as the Great Grimsby 10k and Ride with the Pros. Staff are encouraged to get involved and are supported in these events, with free entry and even fitness coaching provided for certain events.
We have big plans to expand over the next few years and need the right team of staff in place to continue the excellent standard of care throughout the development process.
