Monsal Hill Climb

The Monsal Hill Climb is entering its 87th year and it’s guaranteed to be the most exciting yet.
Join riders and supporters as you cheer of those partaking in one of the toughest uphill climbing events of the year. The 675-yard route in the picturesque Peak District has a gradient of 1 in 6 and heads towards the famous pub at the top of Monsal Hill.
The course record is held by Malcolm Elliott with an amazing time of 1:14.2, this was set back in 1981. The only other ride to come close was Russell Downing with 1:18.3 back in 2003, will 2017 be the year a new record is set?
