Nicholas Stephens

Mr Nicholas Stephens

I was a former Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and worked as a Stockbroker setting up two overseas offices for James Capel & Co in the 1970’s.
I have been involved with a number of schools and charities and was former Chairman of the Board of Ellesmere College, St John Ambulance (Shropshire) and the Macmillan Appeal (Shropshire and Mid Wales).
I chose to be appointed as a trustee of HMT in 2003 because I support this charity’s values and have seen what a difference it makes to the quality of life of many elderly/sick people. In addition, I have found aspects of HMT’s work of great personal interest, particularly its work on dementia care.
