From the moment you step foot in HMT St Hugh’s, everything is about you. Our state of the art facilities are complemented by our traditional values. Whether you have health insurance, you are self-paying or an NHS patient who would like the confidence of receiving your treatment at HMT St Hughs, we offer you the peace of mind that comes from private healthcare in a relaxed, comfortable and clean environment along with a level of service that will have you back on the road to recovery as quickly as possible.

Big enough to cope, yet small enough to care. As the smallest hospital in North East Lincolnshire, we have the luxury of hand picking specialist staff who pride themselves on the provision of bespoke medical services. But don’t be fooled by our size, we are part of the wider HMT group with an extensive consultant network that covers a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services. As a centre of excellence, HMT St Hugh’s are the chosen healthcare provider for professional athletes including JLT Condor Professional Cycling Team and Olympic Gold Medalists.

Why Choose a Private Hospital

An important part in most of the areas leading clinicians choose HMT St Hugh’s as their preferred venue for private practice. The excellent relationship between consultants and hospital staff leads to the unparalleled service provided to patients. The enviable environment of a close knit medical team allows your consultant to gain a close relationship with all patients. Your specialist consultant will personally oversee your treatment from start to finish and have a hand in every aspect of your treatment and recovery, rather than having to delegate to a number of junior staff.High quality of care

High Quality Care

All patients are treat as individuals from the first visit where your consultant will agree with you the most appropriate treatment, with onsite x-ray and MRI facilities, a dedicated endoscopy suite and two fully equipped surgery theatres.

25 newly decorated and fully equipped private rooms, each equipped with en-suite bathrooms, are regularly cleaned during all inpatient visits for the most comfortable experience possible.

The dedicated in-house catering staff understand that good food not only helps a speedy recovery from treatment, but also makes the luxury patient experience one that sets us apart from other hospitals. Tasty and nutritious snacks are provided throughout your stay at St Hugh’s hospitals.

HMT St Hugh’s is part of the Healthcare Management Trust, a charity registered in 1985. Our charitable status and ethos means that our leading service provision is delivered without the requirement to provide shareholder return. Our services are not delivered at over inflated prices and we support health related research, scholarship funding and other areas of grant-making.
