Cleanliness & Infection Control

HMT St Hughs Hospital follows rigorous infection control procedures, and as a result has had no known occurrences of hospital acquired MRSA.

We routinely screen patients who could be carrying MRSA unknowingly prior to hospital admission and great emphasis is placed on infection control measures, including hand hygiene and cleaning throughout the hospital. We have trained infection control prevention nurses and all our staff have mandatory training in infection control.

Our dedicated team of housekeepers are managed by the hotel services manager and understand fully the need for the highest standards of cleanliness.
