As a not-for-profit hospital continually reinvesting surplus into projects that bring benefit to our community and future healthcare. Our charitable support spans the following three pillars. Health Promotion, Funding Research and Developing Facilities. During 2016 we contributed over £1m to support PhD research programmes to practically support those living with dementia.

Locally we support Friendship at Home, a dementia choir and host a regular community forum. We also promote health through our partnerships with local sporting events and activities, sports and community clubs in addition to our own health seminars and events promoted from St Hugh’s.
